How to cancel (and refund) all or parts of a registration

If you need to cancel all or part of a registration and possibly refund money if the attendee has paid, you can do it easily and quickly in EasySignup.

  • Click on the event title or the status icon.
  • Find the section " Registered attendees" and the person(s) that you want to cancel. Click on the "X" on the right hand side.

    Events without payment

  • If you collect information about all attendees you can choose whether you want to refund all attendees on the registration (1) or individual attendees by selecting "Yes" to the right of the attendees name (2).

    You can also choose whether you want to send a confirmation of the cancellation (3). 

    View order details by clicking "+" next to the name of the person (4).

    Press "Perform Cancellation" to complete the cancellation (5).
  • If you have only collected information about the main attendee, you'll see a drop down menu (1) if the orderer has registered more than more person. 
    The drop down is prefilled with the total number of attendees on the registration. If you want to cancel all attendees on the registration click "Perform cancellation" (3). 

    If you only have to cancel individual persons, select the number you want to refund (1) before clicking "Perform cancellation" (3).

    You can also choose whether you want to send a confirmation  of the cancellation (2). 

    Events with payment

  • If you collect information about all attendees, you must choose whether you want to refund all attendees (1) or individual attendees by selecting "Yes" to the right of the attendees name (2). 

    View order details by clicking "+" next to the name of the person (3). 

    Click "Refund" to complete the refund (4).  


  • Under details, you will be given the opportunity to refund additional choices. If the additional choices are free, you must instead edit the registration, where you can reset the number. See this guide.



  • Click the "Refund" button at the bottom right and click "Yes" to complete the refund. The attendee fee is transferred to the credit card used at registration.
  • You need to enter a bank account number if it is a refund of an invoice payment or EAN. You can also cancel a unpaid invoice payment or EAN.
  • If you have only collected information about the main attendee, you'll see a drop down menu (1) if the main attendee has registered more than more person. 

    The dropdown is prefilled with the total number of attendees. Click "Refund" (2) if you want to refund the entire order. 

    If you only have to refund individual persons, choose the number you want to refund (1). View order details by clicking "+" next to the name of the person. You will then be given the opportunity to refund additional choices. If the additional choices are free, you must instead edit the registration, where you can reset the number. See this guide.

    Click "Refund" (2) and the attendee fee is transferred to the credit card used at registration.


    Additional choices purchased later than the original registration

  • If an additional choice have been purchased after the initial registration, you need to refund the additional choice before you can refund the attendee. If so you will see a small warning triangle with info. 

    Show the registration details by clicking on "+"to the left of the attendees name.


  • Then click on the "X" next to the additional choice, that has been purchased later.

 

  • In the popup-window you can now refund the additional choice.

    Once the additional choice has been refunded, you can refund the attendee entirely.
