Delete personal data for individual persons in the search results

You can manually delete personal data for individual persons by searching after them in EasySignup.

You get the best result by searching as specific as possible. Hence, use the person's full name or e-mail address as search word.

This procedure is useful if you are contacted by someone who wants to have their personal data in EasySignup deleted.


  • Find the search field at the top right-hand corner of the dashboard. You can enter a search word in the field or click "Find Attendee" to access the search feature.

  • You can enter first name, last name, full name or e-mail address. You can also choose to search in one or more categories. Then click "Perform search".

    If you want to delete all information about an attendee, select "All" under categories, as the person's data can appear under several categories.

  • In the search results, you can either tick individual results or a group of results. The latter is relevant if you need to delete data on a person who has registered for several events with the same e-mail address. Select "Delete personal data for selected" to start deletion.

    Note: Before you make a deletion, you must assess whether you can delete the personal data that does not relate to payments, or whether there may be an obligation, e.g. documentation requirements to store the data.

  • Enter your password for security reasons and click "Start deletion".

  • Confirm that you want to start deletion.

  • The deletion will now start and you will receive an e-mail when the deletion is complete. Click "Close" to return to the event list.

    Sometimes, you experience that data is only partially deleted. This is because there has been payments on the event. Payment data must be stored for a minimum of 5 years before deletion according to Danish law.
