VAT settings for a single event

Once you have created an event, the event's VAT settings will follow the default VAT settings you have selected under Account->Settings in the administration.

However, you have the option to choose whether single ticket types or additional services are subject to VAT on an event.

You also have the option to choose whether the prices shold be dislayed with or without VAT.

Note: These settings are not available if you have EasySignup account with USD as currency.

How to select if specific ticket types or additional services are subject to VAT

You have the option to choose whether some ticket types or additional services are subject to VAT - regardless of the general VAT settings.

However, the general VAT settings indicate if ticket types and additional services are subject to VAT or not by default.

• Find the event and click on the edit button.
  
• Under the tab "Tickets" you can choose under each ticket type whether it is subject to VAT. Click the edit icon and check the box if the ticket is subject to VAT or uncheck it if it is not subject to VAT.
  
• You have the same options under each additional service option.
  
• Click "Save and stay on the page" to save and continue editing or "Save changes" to save return to the list of events. Both buttons are located at the buttom right hand side.
  

How to choose whether prices should be displayed with or without VAT for a single event

If your event has tickets or additional choices, that are subject to VAT, you can choose whether to display prices with or without VAT.

• Find the event and click on the edit button.
  
• Find the section "VAT" under the tab "Finances" and change the settings as desired.
  
• Click "Save and stay on the page" to save and continue editing or "Save changes" to save and return to the list of events. Both buttons are located at the buttom right hand side.
